The main technical characteristics of Joker ‘Fiat Lux’ coincide with the characteristics of the original “Joker”: the movement enclosed in a 40-millimeter stainless steel case, and on the bezel, symbols of the poker combination “Five of a Kind” are reproduced in games with a joker.
But there are also obvious differences. Joker ‘Fiat Lux’ is the first “Joker” in the original configuration (with a moon phase indicator) with a skeletonized dial, which allows you to see the signature Chaykin joker indication module.
The watchmaker chose this solution, inspired by images of Chinese poetry: he wanted to play with the theme of sun or moonbeams penetrating through the cracks in a bamboo curtain on the skeletonized dial. “This is how the bright, sonically similar to a sunbeam, name Joker ‘Fiat Lux’ was born - let there be light!” - comments Konstantin Chaykin.
