Description
The Konstantin Chaykin Kolobok is a highly original and joyful limited edition of just 99 pieces, bringing horology into the realm of folklore and playful mechanical art. Inspired by the Kolobok, a mischievous character from Russian fairy tales (similar to the Gingerbread Man), this watch is part of Chaykin’s iconic Wristmons series, known for its expressive, anthropomorphic dials.
The bright yellow face features time indications through two animated “eyes” — minutes on the right, hours on the left — while a wide “mouth” aperture shows the day of the week and the moon phase. The domed dial, with its warm golden-to-orange gradient and expressive blue eyes, gives the watch a cheerful and living personality that wears like no other.
The Concept
The Concept
The Wristmons collection is Konstantin Chaykin’s brilliant reimagining of the traditional regulator display. With the Kolobok, Chaykin draws inspiration from Russian folklore to create a mechanical character full of charm and spirit. The Kolobok is a smiling yellow bun that escapes from the oven and goes on a journey — reflected here by the rotating day disc featuring seven characters it must avoid.
Each eye displays a time unit, while the smiling mouth contains a rotating disk that reveals the day and the moon phase. The dial’s convex shape and vibrant colors reinforce the cheerful tone, while the watch retains the technical seriousness of a true haute horlogerie piece — making it a joyful yet refined collector’s item.

ABOUT KONSTANTIN CHAYKIN
Konstantin Chaykin Manufacture, founded in 2003 by Konstantin Chaykin, a Russian inventor and watchmaker, is the only luxury watch brand that produces exclusively Russian-made timepieces. The Konstantin Chaykin brand is recognized by international experts as one of the most creative and original watch brands in the world.
The story of the Russian watch brand Konstantin Chaykin began on October 23, 2003, when a young and ambitious inventor from St. Petersburg discovered his passion for the world of mechanical complications and wanted to develop a tourbillon clock, the first timepiece with a tourbillon to be produced in Russia for 175 years. By July 2024, Konstantin Chaykin had registered 96 patents and a further 62 utility models, more than any other watchmaker in the watch industry.

ABOUT WRISTMONS
The Wristmons series by Konstantin Chaykin has become one of the most iconic creations in independent horology. These watches combine technical sophistication with playful anthropomorphic dials, where time is displayed through expressive faces — from the legendary Joker to Clown, Minion, and now Kolobok. Each model features a unique in-house module, off-centered discs for the eyes, and a moonphase display as the mouth. Far from being gimmicky, the Wristmons represent a fusion of serious mechanical expertise with joyful, character-driven design — watches that make you smile, but with craftsmanship that deserves respect.
